Rio Raiders Gym Update

Dear Rio Athletic Families,

I hope this email nds the entire Raider Family doing well as we gear up for summer!

Upon being blessed with the position of head football coach at Rio Americano High School, one of my main priorities is to modernize, improve functionality and overall safety in our weight room. I believe an upgrade to our weight room will give the football program, as well as ALL Rio Athletes, something they desperately need and deserve.

Thanks to the non-profit organization ARSA (American River Sports Association) we are one step closer towards making this goal a reality. This organization has generously agreed to match all donations up to $6,000!

With $12,000 we will be able to x the holes in the oor, get wall to wall gym ooring, new and improved squat racks, resistance bands, platforms, bummer plates, dumbbells and many more needed upgrades. I believe the listed equipment and improvements will help our athletic programs reach new heights and boost our athletes "Raider Pride"!

If you are intested in helping our atheletes be the best that they can be by upgrading our weight room, please consider a donation of any amount to the Rio Americano Athletic Boosters (RAAB), and remember that all donations are tax deductable (tax ID ##94-2825189). Again, these donations will be matched by ARSA up to $6,000.

Lets give our seniors the proper send off, our juniors and sophomores something to establish and take pride in, and our freshmen direct insight into the future!

The American River Sports Association, commonly known by its acronym ARSA, was formed in 2004 by a group of dedicated Rio parents, neighbors and community members with the purpose of upgrading the athletic facilities at Rio Americano High School.
