Rio de Janeiro Children

I am a 19 year-old Psychology student in my 2nd year at the University of Edinburgh, I am hoping to travel to Rio next year to offer my services and help to teach the children of Rio, English. Brazil is home to many street children, ones who live in orphanages and struggle to receive an education. I am hoping to make a difference, my aim is to teach a class full of children English next year, hoping this will give them inspiration and motivation to succeed through education they are given. I will also be helping in orphanage's with children ages from a few months old to in their late teens.  I believe this is an extremely worthy cause, it is unfair to focus all attention on our children back home, we should all help each other. An education is essential in modern society, we can be the one's who change someone's life. By teaching these children English, millions of opportunities will be open to them. They can move away, attend a funded University, they can pass their knowledge on to others.  This money will help give assistance to the children of Rio de Janeiro. It will teach them English, look after their younger siblings, provide assistance for struggling parents. It will change their life's for the better.
