Right the Wrongs, Fathers have rights too…

I am trying to raise money for my Mom and Step Dad. Their story is one that some people could hear and think a lot of things but would never think of how it actually is. My step dad is a wonderful man, he wa married to his first wife for 13 years and had 4 sons. He loves them OH so much. This love he has for them and driven him into a deep depression. You see, his ex is a very mean woman. She has totally alienated him from his boys. We moved from TN to MS in 2001 and left our entire family so that he could be closer to his boys for weekend visitation. He drove to Baton Rouge (2.5 hours one way) every other weekend to get them. We always had such a fun weekend with all kind of adventures, canoeing, white water rafting, picnics, camping, etc. They were always included in any vacations that we took also. But they had their mother who they would say would always talk bad about their Dad and down any fun they would have while visiting. She was taking them to court constantly wanting more money for whatever. In 2006, one of his boys had a dirt bike accident that left him a quadriplegic. I know that is horrible and it about killed my step dad. They had to file bankruptcy from all the medical bills. He was in the hospital for almost 6 months. Their mother would never tell them anyting that was going on with his health no matter how much they asked. She just wanted money without telling them anything. They didnt know who is drs were, what care he was receiveing. She also never would give them medical bills when they would ask for them. After a few years she took them to court for unpaid medical bills. This was the first time they received any reciepts or knowledge of anything. They just thought the insurance was covering everything. The reciepts she gave left their portion at over 35,000. His check was garnished at 50% for several years until it was paid off. They request a time limit be put on how she gave medical bills, that she had to provide them within 30 days. She has only sent one bill since then, which was for a Quadriciser excercise machine that cost 25,000, and it wasnt sent in the time limit that the court ordered. She took them to court recently for them to pay it. the Court ordered them to pay it anyway even though she bought it without telling them and didnt inform them within the court ordered time. So NOW his check is being garnished again at 50%, AND they are now trying to get  him to pay for a  trip to a physical therapy facility in California costing well over 50,000. His ex is doing fundraisers but dont feel they should be allowed to do any and tries to sabatoge any fundraiser they try to do. SO I am doing a fundraiser to try and help them.  I am trying to raise as much of 25,000 as I can. I would appreciate any help. OH and she has talked so bad about them for so many years that his boys wont even talk to him anymore. He is very hurt and just wants to do the right thing but they are SO strapped. Please help me help them raise money to cover these unpaid medical expenses.  Thank you in advance.
