RICHIE'S APPRENTICESHIP FUNDING
15 YEAR OLD TEEN CYCLIST RICHIE ALLEN IS RAISING MONEY TO FUND HIS OLYMPIC DREAM. THE ONLY CYCLIST FROM THE NORTH EAST TO BE SELECTED BY BRITISH CYCLING COACHES, TO JOIN THE OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT APPRETICE PROGRAMME WITH A CHANCE TO TAKE PART IN THE EUROPEAN,WORLD AND OLYMPIC CHAMPIONSHIPS.

RICHIE'S PARENTS WORK VERY HARD TO KEEP HIS DREAM ALIVE, HIS DAD SPENDS A LOT ON PETROL AND HAS TO TAKE DAYS OFF WORK TO DRIVE HIM TO EVENTS. NOW HE IS A APPRENTICE HE WILL BE TRAVELING EVEN MORE UP AND DOWN THE COUNTRY AND NEEDS MONEY TO HELP WITH THIS COST AND ALSO NEW KIT.

Good little news article in whitley bay news guardian yesterday towards back pages. Unfortunately didn't mention trying to get sponsorship or funding. But at least lets local people know about his achievements. Many thanks to News Guardian and Evening Chronicle.
