What the"R.I.B." Rescue Illumination Band". is...

1. The band is made from silicone so it is Hypoallergenic and flexible, this is to prevent the person wearing the band from getting caught on anything. The safety latch will release easily if the band is forcefully pulled, The R.I.B. is a piece that can be removed from the band and is placed in a Lithium Ion Battery chargers are available for Individual bands. More than one band can be placed in a charger that can hold up to 24 R.I.B.s. The charger base will come in 6, 12, 24 band capacity 3.7V-4.2V 5000MAH chargers are portable and go anywhere you do.

What the"R.I.B." Rescue Illumination Band" does

1. The settings on the R.I.B will allow you to set a distance the band can be away from the app before it sets off an alarm. One of the choices is off in case this feature is not needed. Once set the person wearing the band will be alerted that they have gone further than the distance decided upon with an alarm/vibration and they should turn back. The alarm will shut off once the band is within the chosen distance. It will also Let the person in control of the app know the person wearing it has gone too far buy setting off the same alarm/ vibration depending on the setting you have chosen. But will also shut off when they are once again within the chosen distance.

2. lets the person in control of the app know that the person who is wearing the band has been under water longer than the amount of time chosen for that R.I.B. "no vibration setting for this feature" this is done by a Bluetooth link between the band and the downloaded app. When this happens the band will send the app holder the exact location of where the band alert was set off, first in longitude and latitude, the app then converts the information into feet and direction immediately. The app would read for example ( SOUTH EAST 45') and below the direction there will be a functioning compass to SHOW you in the RIGHT direction. The amount of time this saves in trying to find a drowning victim actually gives you a chance to rescue someone!
