REVOLUTION TRAIN – Drug abuse prevention

We aim to create the system of long-time drug abuse prevention. Our drug prevention train shifts traditional static drug prevention from talks and other non-effective methods to the format that can make and impression on the 21century public. The aim is to deepen the consideration of the risks of addiction and to increase the motivation for healthy lifestyle choices through discussion of respect for the law. The project was launched in spring 2015, now the Revolution Train tours cities in the Czech Republic and Czech-German border regions. There is no other similar project available within Europe or any other part of the world.In the unique premises of the train visitiors (mainly children and youth between 12-17 years of age) think about the risk of addiction, about the responsibility for their lives and for the lives of others. They continue to discuss the issue within follow-up school programmes.
