Hello Everyone

My name is Sibongile Abigail Khoza, I'm 28yrs old.
A year ago I moved cities from Durban to Cape Town, I felt that I needed a change and start over. A year before I had Lost my father to cancer and everything just got too much and I felt that I needed to move and start over somewhere new.
I moved into a flat that I share with my brother.
Everything was going well, and I had started settling in and get used to my small job in the city centre. I took the bus for 1hr to where I live.
I love photography it's definitely my passion, seeing the world through a lens looks so different and amazing, such an escape for me. I moved to the perfect place for just that. Cape Town is beautiful with scenic mountains all around. I was slowly getting back to my creativity when 5months later something horrible happened .
It was a normal Friday evening, I was not feeling well so before I went home I had passed by the pharmacy to get some medication. When I got into the flat I did not bother to switch on any lights and went straight to my room, took my medication and get into bed. At this point my brother was not home yet, which wasn't rare for a Friday evening. I was drifting when suddenly my bedroom door was open, at first I thought it was my brother coming to check on me, which was what we did if one of us go home. But the person kept walking in fast and it took a moment to register what was happening, it hit me when I saw another figure behind the first person, the 3rd switched on the lights. EveytEvery happened so fast. When I realized what was happening I screamed, one of the men threatened me with a crowbar and I ducked under the covers to which he told me not to come out og them. They proceeded to pack all my valuable belonging including my beloved camera, and some clothing items and shoes. With In 5mins they were gone and I was left shacking and in shock.
Lucky for me they did not harm me physically. And for some weird reason I had put my cellphone under my pillow and it was on silent so they didn't see that as I was under the covers. After they. Left I call the police and after my brother. The police officer did their usual routine questions and checks and questioned the neighbors. It was Friday evening, at 7pm, people in my flat are very social and keep to themselves or are out so naturally no one heard or saw anything out of the ordinary. I have since been for counseling and tried my best to move on from the ordeals. But the one extra source of income was taken from me and with studying I have not been able to afford another one. I pray that my story not only teaches you the value of doing exactly what you are told in that kind of situation, but also touches you. I need help to revive my dream and continue with my photography . I have shared a link to a fledgling website so you can see some of my work. Thank you for generosity.
