Reunite Family

Both of my parents immigrated here before I was born from Brazil, leaving my entire family back home. I was never able to have family holiday's or other close relationships that most take for granted. When I was younger, my parents tried to take make a trip every other year. However, with the current economic situation and rising air fare, my younger brother and I haven't been able to see our extended family for about 7 years. After my grandfather passed away, I'm determined to find some way to catch up on lost time and visit.

I'm a full time college student, living on my own and paying my way through school. While my mother is now a single-parent who is trying to provide the best for my brother. Unfortunately, the only thing coming between me and my family, is money.
