Returning to school @ 52

Hello and thank you for taking the time to view my posting! I am the mother of 4 grown kids and grandmother of 5 looking to return to school for medical assisting! I have worked in the customer service industry in one fashion or another all of my working life. I have spent the last 16 yrs in the Telecommunication industry. I am now ready to make a personal difference in peoples life beginning a career in the medical industry. Right now I will be attending (hopefully) for medical assisting, but would like to look at doing Ultrasound for OB/GYN later on.. I have always had the ambition to return to school but raising children and having to rely on a paycheck prevented me from attending earlier in life. Now that kids are grown, it is time for me to broaden my horizons and do something I want to do, instead of what I have to do. I want to thank you in advance for any and all considerations towards making my educational goals a reality and let you know it is most appreciated. Currently the program I am looking at is approximately 6000.00 and being offered at our community college known as Schoolcraft College.
