Empowering Lives of Splendor – Return to Rwanda

This June I will be returning to Rwanda on behalf of Bana Munsange Ministries which I co-founded alongside the senior pastor of the Vineyard Church of Rwanda. We have been partnering since 2016 to empower children and families living in poverty with the vision of seeing them thrive as the beings God designed them to be. We do this first through opening doors for children to attend school and are newly stepping into training caregivers in skills to assist in gaining a steady income.

I am thrilled for this trip to be looking a little different than my previous ones. I will be accompanied by two spectacular leaders from my home community. They are partnering with me to particpate in how God is expanding and deeping this ministry. We will be working with our team in Rwanda to be really intentional about investing in the children and families of the ministry during our time thee. As a team, we are praying about how God might want to use us specifically to empower the women and children of the ministry so they might experience God's unfailing love for them. We are really excited about the ideas already swirling, but are still exploring the details of how God wants to use us in these areas.

Our time will be additionally filled with visiting the children at school/home, meeting with caregivers, and deeping relationships with the families. Other duties will include updating photos/information, as well as meetings with our leaders to talk through celebrations, challenges, dream and problem-solve where necessary.

I would love to invite you into this journey with us also! There are various ways to do that! First through prayer! Areas you can be praying about are: vision for the trip; details to all come together and not be overlooked; good health; wisdom to move only where God is calling us; and financial provision.

They second way is through financial giving. I am looking to raise around $3000 for this trip. Those funds will provide my airfare, housing, visa, food, in country transportation medical expenses, etc. Any additional funds raised will be used for ministry activities in country!
