Retirement Goals

I am a public school teacher. Like many working women, I have had to balance the choices involved in staying home with my children or continuing to be part of the working mom world. I made the choice to try to be home when my children were infants, but consequently gave up my own future security in return. I am now in a position to purchase back service credits in order to allow me to retire when I achieve 30 years of teaching. The deadline under our current retirement system is June 2014, after which the cost to purchase back any service credits will include compounded interest, etc. that will make it impossible to afford. I am looking for any help in raising the funds needed to purchase this service credit. I plan on teaching through my 30 years and helping to make this world a slightly better place by continuing to devote myself to the education of our children. Thank you for the consideration!
