Last winter an Eastern Tennessee storm nearly fell a large tree on our property onto our neighbor's house. The next morning when we saw what was happening we arranged for emergency tree service to remove the tree hazard. We had to pay $2,400.00 from a fund we had been saving for some sorely-needed summer remodeling. We retired in 2010 in a small rural home in need of kitchen and dining expansions. We are in our aging seventies and have limited income. Our request is to help us replace $2000 which we had set aside for cash (we don't live on debt) towards this remodel project. This represents less than 5% of the cash we have saved up in order to do this project. We are much in need of it to finish our remodel agreements. This is our last home and we are remodeling just in order to have an accommodating place for ourselves, friends and family. Thanks for whatever help you can offer. Ken and June Veal.
