Help Restore West Chester's Marshall Square Park Fountain
Friends of Marshall Square Park recovered the long-lost park fountain in 2012. It is now restored and reinstalled but we are short of the funds we need to finish the job.
We have already raised enough money to restore the metalwork (including recreating a few missing pieces), install modern plumbing and electrical service, reline the fountain's basin and purchase a new fence. We now need to repave the area around the fountain, install lights and a security system, and turn on that fountain. In the end, we will create a new gateway to West Chester while restoring this historic treasure.
Any amount you can spare will help us reach the finish line, but special rewards are available for donations of $25 or more, including a Marshall Square Park tote bag, art and photo prints (see gallery images above).
The video has clips from the day we retrieved the old fountain's pieces from a nearby farm and the day the restored fountain was reinstalled in the park.
