The town board of Irondequoit, NY just recently passed a law prohibiting boats from anchoring, mooring, or tethering together in front of public beaches in their town. This has essentially privatized a portion of Lake Ontario (one of the Great Lakes) to the benefit of private waterfront homeowners.

For generations, the public has enjoyed these waters.  Now, because a few homeowners have complained, the town has taken your freedoms and given them to a select few.

Please join your fellow community members to help have this law overturned.  A professional attorney has been obtained.  Each donation is tax deductable and will bring us one step closer to restoring our public water rights.
