restoration of dream car

In 2016 i bought a dream car, the bmw e34 525i. The car howeever is in need of a restoration. Rust and abuse and neglect by previous owners took their toll.

In february 2016 i started to replace mechanical parts to make driving safe and enjoyable. I poured all the spare time and energy and of course money into the car. It was a work of love. Car got new suspension, brakes and all major components to reduce play in the the steering system.

However, last winter took a bite in car chassis. Right now car has a lot of problems with rust wich needs to be removed. The restoration of chassis needs to be done before next winter so i can lower te expenses as much as possible. Longer i wait more expensive restoration will be. I already put all my money into other components of the car, because previous owner ensured me that car was repainted and the rust was fixed. Time shoved that the job was poorley done and it needs to be fixed.
