Responsible Tourism Around the World

The project is an expedition type journey to promote Responsible Tourism. The plan is to sail the world on a yacht and raise awareness by reaching out to local tourism organisations, giving lectures, using social media and PR. The estimated journey time is not known but somewhere between 3-5 years.

The end product will be a book about the journey and Responsible Tourism in the world.

The funds will be used for the journey and to buy a second hand sailing boat suitable for blue water sailing.

The plan is to start the journey early 2020.

All donors will receive a newsletter detailing each step of the journey, and perhaps even a postcard if the winds are favorable.

The expedition has a qualified captain with a MSc in Responsible Tourism Management.
