Responsible for Lost Money

First and foremost, thank you for reading this

Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Ristinto, man, 30 years old from Indonesia

It has been two weeks I have been looking for loan , unfortunately nothing could help me since I don’t have any house, car as guarantee, I am living in rent room here in Bali, paying the rent monthly

I worked as Duty Manager two weeks ago here in Bali , in one of the hotel

Story began on November 2017 : that time during my shift , I handled cash deposit from our long stay guest who stayed from November 2017 to December 2017, as usual when I received cash deposit from my reception I would put the money inside safety deposit box, filled up the record book and updated in guest’s profile too

On December 2017, during my day off I got a call from my colleague and he mentioned that the money from safety deposit box was missing, this was the one I handled and definitely I was sure the money was there and all the record was done completely, unfortunately there was no CCTV in that safety box

Then I spoke over the phone to my superior , seeking solution and assistance, he suggested me to pay back the money since I was the one who handled the money at the beginning

The next day I came to work and spoke again about it, the result was still the same and I had to pay back the money and this was to save my job too

Finally I borrowed the money from our hotel internal cooperation, with some period of months , I would pay the loan by deducting from my salary

I thought this was solved but it’s not and sadly I had to accept all of these

The lost money news was gone hotter and went to higher management and due to this I had to accept responsibility with termination as employee

Not only that, I have short period to settle the money I borrowed from hotel internal cooperation , if not settled with that period this case will go to police station and local law

I could not get any new job due to this situation , my parent is jobless too and could not help much
