Hi, we have recently rescued two pog bellied pigs and expect to take in more. These pigs, have been taken into homes as pets, but once they have got over the 'micro pig' size, they are no longer wanted, or cared for. We now need to create a good strong stock fence barrier between two of the pigs, who do not get on with each other.  This includes good strong five bar gates to be errected in two areas. We want them to completely free range, in the piece and quite without the fear of each other. One is more aggresive than the other, both have been castrated. There are two more girls waiting to come in, but we cannot take them until the area is secure. We generally rescue ducks, geese, chickens, peacocks etc and allow them to spend the rest of their days with us, being fed and having freedom. We both work full time but are finding it difficult to fund the fencing we require, so thought we would have a go at trying to raise funds for them. We are not a charity, but just ordinary animal loving people who have the land to take in the unwanted or unloved pets/animals.  These pigs have had a bit of a rough beginning in life. They are adorable animals and deserve a safe, secure enviroment to live out their lives.  There are lots of these unwanted pigs about since they have 'gone out of fashion!' They can live for up to 20 years or so. We need to raise these funds as soon as possible so the girls can come and live here too. Please help. Any donations would be welcome.
