Rescued cat MIRNAW, needs urgent surgery to live

Hello, this beautiful cat is MIRNAW. The unfortunate cat had gone through a lot and needs 3 expensive and risky surgeries to have a life.

I’m asking for help from all animal lovers around the world for only $1300. The only problem is urgency. We have just 10 days to first surgery. Please let me give you context:

This beautiful soul was found in the street by others with head trauma, no mother around, her head was severely slanted to the right. Having difficulty breathing and balance herself. She went through 3 different uncaring and ignorant temporary homes and several incompetent vets. They gave her the wrong medicines without proper tests and diagnosis. Started her on cortisone which made her condition WORSE.

Then I’ve come across this poor soul on the verge of being tossed back to the street to be left to die after going through all this severe coughing, sneezing, slanted head, fearful of humans, psychologically traumatized from being abused and carried around from home to home. The most difficult thing is that she was having difficulty breathing day by day and her gaze was harsh and painful, we cannot understand what he was suffering.

Immediately took her to my home and requested all the previous treatment files. I took care of her preliminary tests with a vet I trust and started her on proper antibiotics for her infection. Gave her proper high-protein food and love. She went from 2,02kg to 2,85kg in just 1 month. She wanted to live, she was active, she was eating. And started a connection with us. It was extremely emotional the first moment she jumped onto my lap and let me stroke her tiny head.

But after 3 weeks her head and breathing problem isn’t getting better. Crying out of pain at night, her immune system was crushed. We were told that she needs a proper CT scan under anesthesia. Which I’ve covered from my savings. After the CT scan, my Vet told me there is a serious problem with her middle-ear. And there’s only ONE surgeon that could surgically clean and treat her middle ear in Istanbul, who is a Professor in Istanbul University Veterinary Faculty, where the best veterinarians are located.

I’ve found the professor. When he looked at the CT scan and medical examination, he immediately cleaned his surgery schedule for the next month and gave us an urgent date for 3 different surgeries to be able to breathe normally. The first surgery is on March 1, 2021.

All the cavities inside his head are filled with fluid. Left and right sinuses are completely filled. The left middle ear cavity is completely filled and the right side is 95% full. And because the bone structure is damaged, fluid tends to flow to other points in the head and is life-threatening.

These 3 risky surgeries and tests are extremely expensive in Turkey because of the USD:TRY conversion rate. All 3 surgeries and expenses cost $1300 total. But I have to work 5 months in Turkey to cover this bill. And this poor soul doesn’t have that much time.

Dear animal lovers around the world, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am unemployed and financially unable to help Mırnaw anymore after spending my savings on her tests and expensive medication. We need financial help to cover her surgeries
