We live in a neighborhood with many stray cats. Our room is on the top floor of one of the townhouses, where 5 young male cats, 1 pregnant female cat and 1 mother cat with 2 kittens live on the rooftop area. They never go down on the ground and stay up going around the rooftop neighborhood.

We would like to relocate them in where they can live without worrying about food and safety. One of the business owners complains and wants to call police to get rid of them because they go into her rooftop and make her floor tiles dirty and annoy her customers with their night call. One day one of the kittens fell on her rooftop and the kitten was too small to climb up on her own. Mother cat didn’t know what to do. We heard the kitten’s meowing and went to talk to the owner about it. That’s how we found out how much she’s angry about the cats and ready to call the authorities. In the end she let us in to rescue the kitten, but we must relocate the cats soon.

In Bangkok, we have some very good cat shelters but they are already overcrowded and always short of funds. If they accept the rooftop cats + 6 kittens which have started to live in the neighborhood, we’d like to donate some money to them. We ourselves will of course donate, too and also would like to ask for your donation for the rooftop cats and the other homeless cats in the shelters. Thank you very much for reading.
