Help raise money to cover vet bills for our rescue cats. We commit to only spend money raised for this purpose on vet bills and nothing else.
We currently have 2 rescue cats. Lottie has a very sad and shocking story. She was used for illegal dog baiting. She was declawed unprofessionally. Declawing is illegal in the UK and her injuries cause her on going discomfort and pain. When she was rescued she had a midline spaying as the vets judged it too dangerous for her to birth her 7 kittens. She was just too young to be bred from at 4 months. She also had surgery to remove a metal bolt she had swallowed prior to being rescued from unsuitable housing. She was being kept in a small dog cage with her 3 sisters. As well as the damage to her back paws from declawing, she also has a crushed front paw and gum disease.
Lottie is 6 months old and needs on going treatment to help her with these legacies of a poor start in life. She is slowly becoming more confident in her new home although she is still shy and needs time to learn to trust humans being classed as a feral kitten due to not being socialised from birth. We are not sure yet, how much her treatment will cost. Anything you can give will be a great help and we are very grateful.
