Approximately 60 houses in Salvación are still missing to finish their structures to be able to install a roof and all the houses would be left standing, although very simple, but at least enough so that they can be sheltered and thus rest well to put their lives back on track little by little.

It is not ideal, it is far from that or from what we are used to in Spain or in many other countries, but there are people on the ground who are already planning how to help the constructions to be reinforced to better withstand the weather and we hope that little by little they will improve

These are some of the people who already have their materials and have more or less complete structures, they will be able to put them up immediately with the help of other neighbors. They send you their most sincere thanks.

The most important thing in the present moment is to get the homes of the villagers in Salvacion up again and they are working non-stop reutilizing old materials, waste, and coco lumber from fallen palms in hopes to receive soon the roofing materials we promised.
And they are finally coming, after a few days stuck in Surigao City because of the terrible weather, they were able to leave shore yesterday. Today is just a matter of house since they arrived in low tide and they cannot really approach the shore.

There are lots of materials arriving since we shared efforts with other neighbors doing their part and from our funds directly, there will be 8 families with the roof very soon.

Thank you again, this is becoming a reality because of you all.

Lots of love guys!

Today we had contact with Jayson and the fast cat is arriving in Siargao tomorrow. As of now, they have arrived in Surigao to probably unload first thing in the morning.

The sea was a little rough and apparently, our hero is feeling a bit dizzy today. Hang on in there Jayson!

You are almost home.

We are proud to share as well that the son of Sweeta, some of you know her, as she works in our home and its the best ever, has been of great help to make this happen, supervising the loading and taking care of the cargo that will be delivered and enduring a hard trip with little sleep and lots of worries. We are proud of you Jayson!
