Hello, my name is John Bosco Shitsama, a Kenyan citizen from a less privileged family who got accepted to study in Dublin, Ireland to do a 3-year degree in Audio and Music Technology. I managed to complete my 2-year diploma in music production here in Africa in the largest college offering music production in eastern and central Africa and I got a Pearson assured certificate from the United Kingdom which has helped me secure a position to study in Ireland and earn a degree in music technology. I am so happy yet disappointed, It has been my greatest joy to explore more and interact more on music especially on the technological side of it and floss my abilities and passion and help in improving this music industry but the setback is none of my family or friends can raise the money for me to study there because we have too many challenges especially being raised by a single mother who weighs in her challenges and tells me that that fee is ridiculously high. I have searched for sponsorships and scholarships and I haven't been able to raise even 20$ and I should be reporting this September. I graduated last summer on June 3rd, 2018, I haven't even been able to get a single job, I am suffering, I feel like my mental health situation is deteriorating every single day, frequent panic attacks and also impatience is gripping up my mind. I have nothing more than this one-shot to get my skills out there in the world, I have tried here at home and the challenges have been too much, you cannot advise a fellow sound engineer or producer because they feel like your teaching them their jobs and your just a 21-year-old kid who has no right of say, I cannot get a job in a studio because the producers think that your coming to steal their jobs and am not privileged to own my own studio so am rendered unemployed with other 1,435,800 youth population in my country and that breaks my heart and I feel there's more in my life, there's more in these young people lives and all it takes for me is to get a platform, rise up like a Phoenix from the ashes I shall come and be an inspiration to the young and tell them there's hope, tell them no matter what humans have done to us, they are some willing to see us succeed and I really hope it's you who sees this message and willing to donate to make sure they see me give hope to my fellow Africans, Asians, Americans, Latinos, and Carrebian people and tell them all it took for me is to have faith in humanity and it paid me back and so should you and I. I'm looking forward to joining the collage in September and my greatest joy in this world is when I'll have recieved enough to fly me there and open up my ideas, brighten up the future in music and be an achiever
