Arlyn Rivera Cabaruan of Pinopoc, Alcala, Cagayan is suffering from Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease, which means both of her kidneys have already shriveled to the point where the only option is a kidney transplant, which will cost her roughly 2 MILLION pesos.

Arlyn became the breadwinner of her family since her father died and it is really hard for them to finance the operation alone. She is a devoted sister, a compassionate friend and colleague, and a very effective and efficient employee. In addition to these, she is very dedicated in giving back to her community. She works at the Department of Agriculture. She routinely goes throughout the region, talking with our devoted farmers and sharing the good news from DA RFO 02 with them- the agency's services and programs to offer. Despite the fact that she is aware of her situation, she chooses to report to work and carry out her responsibilities.

She has always been and always will be a ray of sunshine to the people around her with her optimism and bubbly personality. She never failed to make us smile and happy whenever she’s around.
