Replacing the stolen generator

Friends Dave Clothier and Stuart Maggs were raising money in Southampton for Children in Need on Friday, when thieves stole Dave’s generator while he was packing up for the day.

Dave has helped raise more than £10,000 for charity over the recent years including local charities close to his heart- Southampton Hospital, Wessex Cancer Trust and Hampshire and IOW helicopter.

Dave spends a lot of his free time in the local community, he has a steam engine and McCarthy musical organ which he takes along to local family events for everyone to enjoy.

Dave is understandably extremely upset and cannot understand why people can stoop so low, particularly at a charity event. Dave is unable to use his organ until this is replaced

We hope with the support of the local community we can replace the £2000 stolen generator. Any additional funding will be donated to a local charity of Dave’s choice.
