On 30th May 2016 two sabs were hospitalised by members and supporters of the Cheldon Buckhounds on Exmoor in a vicious and unprovoked attack while sabs were trying to stop hounds from chasing a deer. Both sabs sustained head injuries, one of them severe. The assailants stole the body cam of one of the sabs, which had filmed the assault. We are fundraising to replace his camera. Camera and harness cost £100 together. Any support is hugely appreciated.
Thank you so much to everyone who has been so generous in donating to this appeal. We are overwhelmed by the messages of support and your kind donations. The victim in the photo is recovering well from his ordeal. The other sab who sustained a fractured skull in the incident is still awaiting surgery, which will take place as soon as the swelling has gone down enough for doctors to be able to operate. We will keep everyone updated on his recovery. Once again, thank you so much from all of us x
