Jennie Worek is a photography Captain for THON, the largest student-run philanthropy in the world. As anyone who knows her well can attest to, Jennie cares deeply about this organization and has worked tirelessly all year for their upcoming 46-hour marathon weekend.
However, Jennie's camera was sadly stolen during a recent THON event. As her camera is her main tool (also a brand new gift from her parents), without it she is unable to do her job and capture the images that inspire people and preserve memories for families who are undoubtedly going through the toughest experience of their lives.
As Jennie's still in college, she unfortunately is not able to pay for a new camera on her own; so we would love to raise the necessary funds to purchase Jennie a new camera/lens to replace the one that was stolen (see exact descriptions below).
-Nikon D7200 body
-Nikkor 18-300 mm lens
Any remaining funds raised during this campaign will be donated directly to THON; for this reason, the equipment purchased will be refurbished, in order to spend as little as possible.
Additionally, if Jennie's camera is somehow returned to the THON office, all funds raised will be donated directly to THON.
Thank you so much for your support and generous help.
