Replace paper reading records

I have 2 children of primary school age. Each has a paper reading record that we as parents have to complete to say our children have read. Filling this in everyday is a pain. This then means a teacher or assistant has to tally these up for every child in every class and work out who has read and who hasn’t.

The current system is paper based and I’m sure not that environmentally friendly when you consider how many primary school children there are. Some poor soul then has to manually record them.

I want to develop an app that is web based and has a phone application, to make this task less tedious for parents and teachers and reduce the amount of resources used in our schools.
