Replace Mom’s Leaking Roof

My mom is need of an emergency roof replacement for her trailer. She lives in Asheville, NC and her trailer is very old. She had been trying to make the trailer better for the past year in hopes that it would be done prior to her retiring. Every time she has attempted to do something like replace the tile, the floor was rotten. The her water pipes busted not once but twice. She was getting help to replace the ceiling in the bedroom but had to stop because the roof had been leaking. Multiple patch jobs have been attempted from a very nice neighbor friend of hers. Because the roof ended up having large holes in it these patching attempts failed again and again. She needs a roof over done. She cannot afford to get her roof repaired and has plastic draped across her roof as we speak. The money received through your donation will go to repairing her roof, if there is any overages that money will go to complete any other repairs her mobile home is needing.

A little about my mom:

She has always helped out so many people, she gives her all when she has nothing. She goes without sleep to help her disabled sisters. She has cared for her family and friends and never expect anything in return. She has also helped me and my brother with so much throughout our lives. For me one of the many times she helped me and my kids was at Christmas. My children were smaller preschool age. We had no gifts for them for Christmas because we were out of money and very little to eat. After my mom had visited us, she left and went shopping. Later that night when we opened our front door the porch was covered with food and gifts for my children. Because of her we all ate and they had Christmas presents to open.

All of the help she has given to everyone that has ever needed it now can't be returned. Most of us that have been blessed with her help are not able to return the favor. I am able to help with a small amount of the cost but I cannot cover it. Some of the others she has helped are not in any position to help.

Mom has been so upset about her roof leaking and all of the problem she has had one after another in this past year. Please help me help my Mom and put a smile back on her face and give her a dry home to live in.
