Rent Free – A Short Film

Introduction

We are a group of 2nd year students from Temasek Polytechnic, Digital Film & Television. For the current semester, we are tasked to produce a 6-8 minute short film based around the COVID-19 situation.

This is a non-sponsored film and all amount raised through this platform will help us with our production cost which includes; casting, location, set design, equipment, transport, and the welfare of cast and crew.

Any remaining amount unused will be donated to a charity/organisation of our choice.

Story Synopsis

Amidst the pandemic, Trevor, a rebellious teen, disregards the severity of the situation and continues his routine of partying. This results in him becoming a carrier of the disease, infecting his parents in the process, ultimately costing their lives. Trevor, engulfed in the guilt which manifests in the form of his parents' ghost, must escape his delusions.
