In the early 1970's, my Aunt and Uncle, Pat and Judy Lewis, began their work with Rensselaer Pop Warner. It had a great run for the first 30 years or so. But in the past few years, the number of kids signing up has dwindled.
At the end of last years season, we reorganized and got a great group of people together to bring the organization back to what it once was. We are already double the enrollment of last year and we may even triple by the time the season starts on Aug. 1. We are very excited and optimistic about the future of RPW!!!
The hard part is raising the money that we need to buy all new equipment and uniforms for the football teams and new uniforms for our cheerleaders! We have kept our registration fees low compared to the surrounding cities. Times are tough and we do not want kids to miss out beacuse their parents cant afford to sign them up...So we are asking for your help!
No donation is too small, and every little bit helps. So please give what you can and help us bring Rensselaer Pop Warner back! They are the future RAMS!!!
