Campaign Story
This house in Binalonan in the Philippines has just been donated and needs to be repaired and renovated to make it safe and habitable for the street children it will house
Children will be offered shelter, meals and education in this community run project. Ownership and management will reside with the local Barangay, or council.
Funds will go towards materials for replacing the roof and windows to provide protection against the elements. The area is prone to flooding with heavy rain. Any additional funds will be spent on building a play area for the children.
All our labour is provided on a voluntary basis by local builders and volunteers from the community.
We are the Masaya Project, which means happiness in the Philippines and we work alongside local communities to empower them to become self sufficient by initiating projects to care for the disadvantaged, homeless and elderly.
