Remembering Warren Gedye

The sudden passing of our dearest friend Warren Gedye on Sunday March 12, has come as a shock to us all.

Warren was an integral part of the Lantau community here in Hong Kong. He was the most kind and thoughtful neighbour and friend, always in charge of a stunning bonfire and a good braai. His dedicated participation at the local outdoor bootcamp has always provided much needed team spirit and cheer. Warren always had a smile on his face and cared about how you were getting on.

He is survived by his loving wife Kerith and their two beautiful children, Griff and Sage.

Warren made the tough decision to leave Hong Kong in late 2022. His family always came first, and they had just relocated to start their new chapter in January; surely having just arrived in a new country and being so far from family and friends makes this terrible ordeal even more painful and difficult for Kerith and children.

We are hoping we can raise money in order to take a load off of the family's back to deal with the needed arrangements and help support Kerith and children. Though it won't bring Warren back, we can at least show our support, as we know Warren would have gladly done himself for any one of us.
