On New Year's Day 2017, when most people are recovering from bringing in the New Year, we are very sad to announce that Tom Wynne died suddenly and unexpectedly at his home in Sherwood, Nottingham. Leaving his distraught wife, Katka and two children, Alice aged 10 and Martin aged 7.
At this very difficult time, all that Katka can think about is the children. Tom was a fantastic and devoted father to his children and it is Katka's wishes for them to have a special local place to visit in Tom's memory.
We feel it fitting to raise funds to provide this very special memory and kindly ask you to help fund a beautiful bench or tree with plaque in his memory for the children to visit and the community to use too. Instead of sending the family cards or flowers.
Any donations towards this cause is much appreciated. Anything over the target would be very welcome to go towards any of the children's needs in the future.

Kindly last week, A C Allan and Cafe Cchino in Sherwood donated £200 to Katka personally. This week, Jolly Tots, a toddler group at St Martins in Sherwood held a cake sale and donated £50 too. Therefore, added together with the many kind donations people have made through the gogetfunding
