Relocation went wrong

Hey Founders,

long story short. We recently moved from Europe to the United States and on the way here everything what can possible go wrong went wrong. It all started with the fact that my husband got laid off in the middle of the relocation. In the meanwhile we left all of our belongings at a shipping company in Portugal including family photos, all toys from the kids, our car and furniture with a less financial value but a huge personal value since its stuff from my grandma and my husbands mom which both passed away.

Now that we are here we're still unlucky since we had to move twice in the same city and we've got screwed by quite a few people regarding our security deposits and stuff like that. Beside that even though my husband worked full time for a company in Boston he got fired again and paid zero dollars even though he got up at 5 am in the morning and riding a bus through the snow to be in the Boston office on a daily basis.

However. Now the shipping company set us a deadline of the 4th of May to pay their invoice in full otherwise our stuff will be accounted as abandoned and being sold. Our are asking on a daily basis when the "ship" with their stuff arrives and now that. Thats why we ask the whole world to please help us out with this. My husband got a new job now but it takes at least a month from now to have the money available and since we're in so much debt right now we can't even spend it completely for our belongings which we call our lives. Please help.
