Dear people,

My name is Jose Revilla, I am from the Philippines, the only child to two loving and hard working parents, both of whom are suffering immensely due to lack of funds and a limited capacity and ability to do work due to their age.

Just recently, father had already begun to lose hope, because he had no more financial support for himself after being severely underpaid due to his not being able to make it on most days due to his health conditions, which does not get any better with age.

Mother is unable to help father because she too is not being paid enough and has her own health and expenses to look after. And both of them had separated a long time ago, so there is not much I can do to bring them back the way they were before.

But what I can do is to make a better future for my parents is by relocating into a new town and start my life anew from there, because that is what my heart is telling me to do.

My parents have always told me that the best thing I could do to make them proud was to follow my passion, make myself the best in that passion, establish a stable foundation, and then take them from there.

They also said that I should not rush it, but I cannot help but rush, in a reasonable way, because they are both getting older and weaker as time goes by, and they have always expressed their wishes to at least have a vacation that they had always wanted but could not have because they had no other support but themselves.

And just recently, I had finally found my passion in life, and that is cooking. It just came to me as a revelation last month, and I have since found myself learning everything about the culinary arts easily, as if it was all truly meant to be.

My original plan was that I actually wanted to study abroad at first, at a culinary school in Canada, but then I realized that was overambitious of me, and I had to instead move quickly to help build my future for my parents, and that begins by starting work here in this new town called Zambales.

The reasons why I intend to move into this town are three fold. One, it is an intuitive calling from within, it just seems right. See, I have felt these feelings before, and they have always led me to where I was supposed to be, and this feeling that I am feeling right now is the strongest I have felt since the revelation on my purpose in cooking last month.

Two, I am native in English, so I get a long in places like these with lots of foreign nationals. And three, the fact that this place is full of natural environments, which would give me a better environment to live in, unlike the hustle and bustle of the city.

What happens next, after all of your kind donations, I would be using the money in the following order :

1. I would spend some quality time with my parents for a while before we part ways. Fulfil their vacation wishes at least.

2. I will go to Zambales, pay the necessary funds for the place that I would be renting there and buy only what is needed to live life simply.

3. I will then begin finding work at the many restaurants and hotels there as a cook, and make a big difference in each of them.

Just one more thing, I would be needing the funds as soon as possible please, because my goal is to move in and start working in Zambales within this very month of September, because the sooner I can begin, the sooner I can create my future, for my parents.

Please, dear people, if you would be so kind as to help support me in any way with this cause, then you will have been a major contribution to the fulfilment of my goal, which I am very grateful for.

If I can do everything else to make my dreams come true for my parents and myself, will you be able to help with just these finances, no matter how small or big? Because either way, all of your donations make a big difference!

Many thanks!

Jose Revilla
