The money collected for this fundraiser will be put towards a festival that occurs every three years in the small hill town of San Cassiano di Controne, Lucca, Italy. The festival celebrates the liberation of the plague in this specific village. By virtue of the cross being carried through town, the plague never killed any residents. I am one of the main people in charge of the festival and it would be great if we could make the festival more extravagent than most years as this little town could sure use it. I am conducting this out of San Francisco, CA, USA and will be flying to Italy in 2017 in the summer for the festival itself. If you would like more info my e-mail is [email protected] If you like Italy, are into plague history or religious history, than please give a donation, whether it be small or large and sponsor the people of San Cassiano. Thanks!
