Campaign Story
I have been collecting seeds of butterfly host plants and turned those into seed bombs - Many of these seeds are not available commercially as they are regarded as "weeds" - and others are hard to find. They are essential to different butterflies' caterpillars. Most caterpillars feed on only one or a few, certain species of plants - called host plants. The adult butterflies need these plants, to lay their eggs on. As a pensioner and teacher, I would like to involve children to start spreading the much needed seeds of host plants. The future of our environment lies with them. I would like to teach the method of making the seed balls and simultaneously distribute them to schools. Please donate towards supplies for the seed bombs and vehicle expenses. Materials to make seed bombs, include seeds, clay, compost and packaging.
Thank you for your support!
