Campaign Story
I have been accepted to the Master of Environmental Engineering programme at Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) for the academic year 2020. To be able to grasp this opportunity I need to be able to pay for the REGISTRATION FEE of Nam$ 10’000 by January 8th. Any help toward funding is greatly appreciated. Please read below for more information.
After successfully completing my internship at Zweifel-Pomy Chips in Switzerland I graduated with my bachelor’s in Environmental Health Sciences. My next goal is the master’s degree. I have been accepted to the Master of Environmental Engineering programme at Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) for the academic year 2020. With practical knowledge from the laboratory at Zweifel and theory from my bachelor studies, I am highly motivated to move forward and continue to build my career. I have strong interests and career goals in the field of Environmental Engineering in order to make significant contributions towards ensuring environmental sustainability, addressing environmental pollution and developing solutions to various environmental problems in Namibia.
I am eager to grab the study opportunity but due to financial hardship in my family and currently Namibia am struggling to raise the necessary registration fee. I will apply for a study loan to cover my tuition fees, however, it does not cover registration fees. I have saved Nam$ 2’000 (approx. CHF 130) of the necessary Nam$ 10’000 registration cost. I am therefore trying to raise another Nam$ 8000/CHF 550 CHF by January 8th for the remaining fee.
Every Swiss Franc and Namibian Dollar helps! My sincere thanks to everyone who is taking part in my journey! I will try as hard as I can to best represent myself and make those that have given me a chance to prove such very proud.
