International Volunteer HQ is one of the world's largest volunteer abroad programs in the world. Ghana is one of many programs that have recently reopened and they have implemented additional health and safety measures to protect against COVID-19. I will be volunteering on the medical project in Ghana, I will be working in small clinics in under-resourced, rural areas for two days a week, and with mobile wound care outreach for the remaining three days. This will help to expand my global medical perspective and gain first-hand experience in a new healthcare medical environment. The goal funding will cover the program fee, my flights to and from Ghana, and the cost of the COVID-19 tests that will be done upon arrival and departure.
