I don't know about you, but the picture of a 3 year old boy, drowned and washed up on a beach as his family fled from a war zone broke my heart.
Turns out that this is a widespread problem. Everyday people are forced to flee, with nowhere to go.
Some of these scenes have been horrific, and difficult to process.
Most of us have probably really struggled to know how to engage with the issue, but this is one small way you can help.
A group of us decided to put some legs to our prayers and head over and see what's happening and how I can help these people.
On 13th Sept we'll be heading with Drop Inn ministries to Greece. (which is where that little boy's family were heading). We'll be spending time with these people, supporting people on the ground and doing what we can to show the love of Jesus in a desperate situation.
The biggest need is probably food and water, and temporary accommodations, so our aim is to raise as much as we can to meet that need when we are there.
100% of the money raised will go directly to working with these people.
