ABOUT REF17

REF17 started as a promise on the beach of Lesvos, Greece. With a group of volunteers and refugees everyone was enjoying a drink and a dance. The evening came to an end and almost the task as a volunteer. Ferhat Yildirim and Dunya Arslan could not leave the island without promising each other that this could not be the last thing they do for the refugees. They can and will do more.

With the refugees as inspiration: REFUGEES, and the year of birth of the idea: 2017 was the name REF17.

REF17 is an ode to Shakib, Bishnu, Jalal, Jamal, Maryam, Fahad, Abdalatah, Mohammad, Dipak, Mujtaba, Hassan, Arif, Dilman, Naweed, Sabrullha, Fatima and all children on the run. All people who have become figures in our news items. Everyone who is hopelessly stuck in the refugee camps. They are REF17's inspiration and motivation.

REF17 donates 100% of this campaigns made to organizations that are committed to the well-being and development of people on the run.
