Medical Support for Red Jimenez

Facebook post from my cousin's wife, Joanne Jimenez:

Hello! This is my youngest, Red. He’s turning 4 years old this Saturday, March 3. He’s a healthy kid, purely breastfed for more than a year and rarely gets sick for the past 3 years. But last Satuday, he got slight fever and episodes of seizures. He was unconscious up to the time we arrived in the ER. He was immediately intubated with oxygen because he was not breathing and all vital signs are down. He was admitted straight at the Pedia ICU of St.Luke’s Medical Center Global City. His eyes opens once in a while but looks unaware of his surroundings. His heart rate is extremely high, blood pressure is extremely low, inflamed liver and heart, and low brain activity. Fever always at 39.3 to 40 degrees. We are praying and hopeful that his lungs and kidneys would not suffer too. All of us, including the doctors are all in shock because of the rapid spread of the infection in his body. Tonight, new set of medicine is given to lower his heart rate. Doctors are afraid that his heart might have a sudden collapse because of the stress it undergoes. We are praying that Red’s body will immediately respond to this medicine. Because if not, we have to resort to ECMO, a machine that will act as his lungs and heart support, so that his heart can rest. This machine will initally cost P1.0M to P3.0M (1-7 days of usage) for the machine alone.

Please help us pray to raise this huge amount, and hopefully celebrate many many more birthdays with our baby boy.
