Our house was foreclosed by the bank 5 years ago. We opted to repurchase the property under a 10-year payment plan but on our 3rd year, our payments started to dwindle as our brother got terminally ill due to kidney failure. Trying to sustain his life by weekly dialysis, family funds depleted fast and we started to incur debt upon debt on top of our property obligation. Our brother died that same year he was diagnosed, and up to now, we have not recovered from these debts. Recently, the bank has been sending us series of notices to pay our obligation in full. We desire to keep this house for the sake of our old parents, now aged 88 and 80, to spare them the pain, humiliation and inconvenience of having to leave our cherished home in the event that the bank will ask us to vacate the house . We hope to raise even just half the price of our bank's obligation (PhP1.75M or USD37K) to cover for the past years' default and resume paying our monthly amortization with the bank under softer term for the remaining 5 years. Your help will mean the whole life for our parents, for me and my sisters living in this same house. We trust that good things will come to those who humbly ask, and still greater things for those who generously give. Thank you.
