RED SEA PROJECT

The Red Sea Project -Team is group of scientists, diving-professionals and devoted citizen scientist that contribute with their private and intellectual resources to this project. To create a financial base that will provide better working and researching methods we are relying on financial funding from the general, environmental-cautious public! We reached so much with so little already and are determined that with your help and financial support we can and will change the reception, education and cautiousness for the Red Sea and all other oceans for the better!

Our work is far from finished, and we know we cannot achieve our mission alone. We believe cooperation is essential to tackling the imminent threats to the environment.

The Red Sea Project team works tirelessly to promote better understanding of the Marine Ecosystems through our programs, engaging with local communities, students, special education groups and our social media platform. Our goals are to dispel myths about marine environment, cultivate a sense of stewardship for the Red Sea and oceans and grow conservation-conscious communities around the world.

We work with ecologists, professional divers, marine biologists, educators, educational institutions and local or international NGO’s to establish and implement educational programs that are mainly aiming to:

- Educate students, teachers, and community members about the Red Sea Ecosystems.
- Create hands-on, collaborative projects for students and teachers that will help conserve our ecosystem.
- Engage students, teachers, and community members in stewardship of their natural resources and impart a conservation ethic.
- Support local researchers.
- Increase ocean literacy by creating awareness about marine ecosystems, the threats posed, and how people can help preserve these diverse ecosystems.

Red Sea Project has many projects pending that are ready to take off, but due to our financial limitations will be on hold until we manage to fund and finance those. Our homepage is the best display of our work and how much individuals can accomplish by devotion to a cause!

With your contribution to our project you will invest in an institution that is determined to raise awareness to the importance of the Red Sea and all ocean´s environment and will continuously develop programs to conserve and protect their marine eco-systems!

The generated funds will be used to build up an infrastructure that allows the team to work in a more professional and efficient work environment. It will open opportunities to reach more people and invest in environmental educational programs, publications and events.
