I am raising money to help ship books to my highschool back in Africa, the school made me who I am today but the kids over there now have an empty library desperate for books and the principal has reached out to old students hoping a goodwill gesture can honor the call for Help.. Over the summer few of us in Canada had a book drive, now we are faced with the logistics off getting them to northern Nigeria where girls often get married commonly now before finishng high school. Without the opportunity to be inspired with books like I had, many will miss to catch a dream.

My passion is to see a new library equipped with books that maybe old and used, but will mean the world to them. Old edition books for example, science and math books for high school still welcome, home and graden, fashion, cooking and building books still needed. self hep books will be apprciated but in time we need to pack and ship. The goal is to ship by sea November 1st 2013 to the shores of Lagos.

ESTIMATED COSTS: Shipping cost, $1500 includes clearing and delivery cost to the school from Lagos to Funtua. $2500 is estimated of labour and material to get the library cleaded fixed up and running. $1000 estimated to cover travelling cost of volunteers who have agreed to deliver the books and oversee operations.

Help us reach this goal to have the books arrive before the Christmas holidays and have the Christmas break surprise of a new library.

Thank you in advance. PLS SHARE

sincerely,
