Juju has been living a quiet and peaceful life at our home and we really admire her sweet energetic personality. Unfortunately, that changed last Saturday (December 21, 2019) when she was lying helplessly on the ground. (December 22, 2019) Sunday we decided to take her to the vet because she’s fully non-responsive and we just couldn’t let her story end there. She was taken into Animal Care Hospital & Wellness Center (Mabalacat City) where she underwent a C-section and spay surgery for 2 1/2 hours. They removed her uterus and the dead kitten that she couldn’t expel due to her exhaustion during her pregnancy. She is taking her necessary medications/Dextrose in hopes that her wounds will heal more quickly. She will be held at the hospital for about a week for observation.
It is our mission to help stray cats that become part of our family and that doesn't stop a situation as big as this. Sadly, most of what we do for them costs money and Juju’s vet bill will take a HUGE chunk of our funds. It is our hope that you will help us so that we can continue to help them and also for Juju’s full recovery. Please consider donating! Absolutely no amount is too small and every bit helps!!!
