Rebuilding Elia’s Dream

Elia Mariz Agustin(16 years of age), daughter of Evelyn Agustin, a single mom working as my helper is currently looking for some help in her fight against scoliosis. When Elia was in grade 4, during which she was 10, she was diagnosed with scoliosis, which was so severe that a brace can no longer be used to correct it. The orthopedic who saw her recommended that she go through corrective surgery, however it should be done before she reach 18 years old.

Because of their financial situation, they still haven't been able to afford the surgery. Her mother is alone in raising her 3 children, her husband left them for another woman back in 2010. He has seldom gives support. Her mother has been struggling to afford education for her other two children, that is why she is praying and hoping that before Elia reaches 18 years of age, that she receives the treatment necessary to help her spine, to at least aleviate some of the more severe effects of her scoliosis, like difficulty in breathing.

We could really use your help, and even a small amount will go a long way towards Elia achieving her simple dream of having a normal back that won't be the subject of onlookers.
