Rebuilding our (burned) home

Update posted by Arman Burgos On Mar 18, 2018

When relatives and acquaintances knew what happened, a lot of people went to visit mama and papa and brought with them clothes and food.

We are very thankful to all the good people that extended their blessing to us. Yes, including you!!! :)

Some of the clothes given to us do not fit my parents' sizes, so we decided to re-donate them to Red cross local chapter, in that the essence and intention of these goods did not go to waste.

We rented a temporary place for my parents' to stay at temporarily.

This studio is relaxing as it is beside the river and complete with home essentials but the rent is a bit expensive so we decided that we'll just stay here for one month until we find a place with considerable rate and we can prepare the things that they will need on it.

I am back to work now, but I am planning to fly back next month to check out how they're doing.

Thanks to my colleagues in TI, I was able to cutshort my trip in China and rebook tickets back to the Philippines, 3 flights and I arrived to the site where our house was totally burned. I convinced my parents to temporarily move and they agreed. I am attaching the pictures I got when I was there yesterday.
