On Christmas day 2019, Typhoon Phanfone hit the Philippines, causing severe floods and destroying homes in several provinces. The typhoon reached winds of 200kmph (125 miles per hour), leading to the evacuation of more than 58,000 people & thousands stranded as they tried to make their way home for Christmas.

The typhoon destroyed the house of my helper Haydee Aguilar and family. As the incident happened so quickly, her family was not able to save any of their belongings. Fortunately, her husband and 3 children managed to escape unharmed.

We are knocking on your kind hearts to help her family during this challenging time. If you would like to make a financial donation to help rebuild her home please use this site to make a contribution. Any amount will make a big difference.

We would also appreciate donations in kind such as basic household items (kitchenware, beddings etc,) clothes, and other items that would help her family to start anew. To donate in kind, please contact Anita at [email protected]

Alone we can do so little but together we can do so much. Let's show Haydee that she and her family are not alone in this.
